Chess Training help the kids develop an extraordinary performance at their exams and to develop their personality. Students also experience training on other aspects such as time management, career guidance, stress management etc. There are various brainstorming sessions on a periodic basis where they will be able to plan their teaching method and also closely monitor the performance of every individual and make necessary corrections.
We provide the children 3 levels of chess curriculum with experienced trainers. The 3 levels includes:
1. The Beginner level
2. The Intermediate level
3. The Advanced level

1. THE BEGINNER LEVEL:
In the beginner level the players learn the basic fundamentals of chess which is trained to improve their patience, concentration and decision-making skills which improves their academic performance. Hence this curriculum consists of
Fundamentals of chess Piece exchanges Basic tactical patterns
2. THE INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
In this level the players are trained at District-level to state-level tournaments. This level includes study of opening, middle game and end game. This level consists of topics Basic opening theory Basic middle game strategy Advanced pawn end game
3. THE ADVANCED LEVEL:
This type of training is for players with target. This qualifies them for a District / State and National level tournament. Here the players also get motivated to become an award winner such as Grand Master(GM), Candidate Master(CM), and International Master(IM) and attain various championships at tournaments. This level covers Advanced Tactical patterns Coordination and Mobilization Advanced Attacking Patterns
SCHEDULE OF CLASSES:
The classes for chess at StepsStones’s Academy are scheduled in offline mode every Sunday from 10:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
For Beginners, classes will be on Wednesday between4.30 pm to 5.30 pm and Sunday between 10.30 am to 12.00 pm.
Online mode can be conducted based on candidate’s need and interest.
